Chavara English Medium School prides itself on being one among the family of CMI schools in India. Our Catholic traditions, Christian values and Indian culture are the foundations to our work to enable pupils to find their niche, develop the confidence to excel and face the challenge and opportunities of the future.

We believe it is the early years, when the educational foundations are laid for everything that follows.  Children are learning to learn. Very young children have curiosity and enthusiasm. Our aim is to harness these qualities in an active, stimulating, happy and secure environment.  We nurture children into confident, well prepared and highly motivated learners who will go on to achieve the best for themselves. At the same time, we help them to develop the ‘whole person’, with good manners, self discipline, honesty and consideration for others, working and playing in a positive and rewarding way. 

Starting school is an exciting time. Our youngest class follows a curriculum which mixes creative play and a wide range of stimulating experiences with an appropriate degree of academic learning. Baseline testing is undertaken during a pupil's first term and the guidelines from the Mharashtra State Education Board on Desirable Learning and Goals are closely followed.
